How to prepare for My Outdoor Fitness

My Outdoor Fitness  FAQ

WHAT KIND OF RESULTS WILL I GET?

By attending My Outdoor Fitness you will embark on an outdoor fitness journey. You will be able to get your body moving the way it used to when you were a kid. You will lose fat from all over your body and have fun doing it, in a group setting. If you pay attention to the eating instructions and do your best to stay on the right path, you will be amazed at what can happen. It will decrease the stress and improve your immune system you get from the daily grind of work. You will build your cardiovascular endurance and your strength as well as your flexibility.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY OUTDOOR FITNESS?

You should wear comfortable clothes and a good pair of running shoes.  Bring a fitness mat for the workout and cool down and stretching.  Dress warm for the morning classes (layers), but get ready to sweat. We also recommend you bring a towel and a bottle of water!

I HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS – WILL I MAKE IT?

Yes, we do not ask anyone to do more than they can do safely. We take the recruit from where they are physically, to the best that they can do. We have seen great results from people who were once couch potatoes and are now in the best shape of their lives.

HOW MUCH WEIGHT WILL I LOSE?

The answer is up to you.  Team members that have the greatest success are the ones that worked hard and adjusted their eating habits. Remember, losing weight isn’t the scale by which we are judged; it is the way we look and feel about our bodies that is most important. By participating in My Outdoor Fitness you will learn to love your body and treat it the way it should be treated, with respect.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I COMPLETE MY FIRST MONTH?

Fitness is not a one-time get fit quick deal. Fitness is a way of life. The quality of the life you lead is up to you. Most My Outdoor Fitness participants join the next class and really start to challenge themselves, this time with your new improved lighter, quicker, stronger body.

During GetFit BootCamp all recruits will be doing stretches, calisthenics (push-ups, sit-ups, flutter kicks), military style drills, strength workouts using padded weighted bars, dumbbells, medicine balls, circuit training, running drills, obstacle course and whatever other surprises we have in store for that day.

We try to make the workouts fun and challenging at the same time.  The more effort you put into the class, the more results you will get out of it.

All workouts are developed by Certified Personal Trainers.

You don’t have to be in shape to come to My Outdoor Fitness – getting you in shape is our job!

By the end of the program you will feel great and have made new friends who will have gone through the same body changing experience you have.
